The Smart Mobility Living Lab London has completed an AV trial to gauge consumer acceptance of future transportation services.
The trials took place on the streets of Royal Arsenal, Woolwich, enabling Shared Research Programme (SRP) members to increase their understanding of consumer attitudes toward AVs and help shape the future of autonomous mobility services.
The test vehicle used a Nissan e-NV200 converted by StreetDrone into a Level 3 autonomous mobile unit.
The SMLL testbed is a CCAV and Innovate UK-funded project led by the TRL.
Once complete, the project will have built 20km of instrumented roads in Stratford and Greenwich.
