The Humanetics name is synonymous with safety and sensor technologies. For over 70 years, Humanetics has been the pioneer of crash test dummies, safety systems, simulation software and sensor technologies that put human well-being at the center of industrial design.
Humanetics has 3 core business groups: Safety, Digital and Sensor Technology. Our hardware Safety systems include crash test dummies (ATDs), passive safety equipment and active safety robotic platforms. Our digital portfolio includes a complete range of finite element ATD digital twins, ergonomic software used for vehicle, airplane and transport system design, 3D body scanners, and the largest databases of 3D body scans with data representing populations from across the world. Our sensor technology portfolio serves a broad range of industries and critical environments where state-of-the-art precision measurement and engineering control is required. It includes custom strain electrical sensors, state-of-the-art fiber optics used in sensors for critical environments, laser precision engineering used in fiber optic processing and material nano-engineering.
We collaborate with engineering teams in aerospace, medical, defense, energy, telecommunications, automotive, manufacturing and other industries at the forefront of progress and growth. Our devices and simulation and sensor technology are used to develop safety systems for every car on the road, to guide aviation navigation and control systems, to control medical devices and hospital ICUs, and propel missions for space exploration. In the automotive sector, Humanetics serves 100% of the OEMs and Tier I safety suppliers worldwide.
