Continental has adopted the CONiX Testfleet solution from mobility technology company b-plus to manage its test vehicles in the areas of assisted and automated driving. The companies have been co-developing this software for almost three years, with the customized solution now deployed worldwide across Continental’s test fleets.
The cloud-based CONiX.tfs was specifically developed to manage test vehicles, systems and drivers within the assisted and automated driving (ADAS/AD) validation environment. It was developed with a focus on customer needs and tested in real-world scenarios.
CONiX Testfleet is designed to improve transparency and efficiency in test fleet management by simplifying coordination, over-the-air (OTA) software updates and structured vehicle testing and data collection processes. It supports companies in preparing and organizing entire fleets, executing test and validation drives, and conducting comprehensive evaluations and detailed analyses of test drive data.
Johann Führmann, business developer at b-plus automotive, said. “This cooperation brings many advantages for both project partners. Continental receives a tailor-made, individualized product that is precisely adapted to their specific needs. We at b-plus had the opportunity to incorporate Continental’s extensive setup and far-reaching ADAS testing requirements into our software solution.
“The result is an unparalleled test fleet management solution that adds significant value to both companies and drives safety on the roads worldwide.”
