beLow, launched by WedoLow, a software editor that helps design embedded and hosted applications, is changing the world of code as an automated and ultra-fast software solution for diagnosing and optimizing embedded software.
Currently, cars require 200 million lines of code, and by 2025 this is expected to increase to 650 million.
beLow aims to automate the production of efficient code to address this challenge, by helping developers identify and quantify the optimization potential of their code throughout their work. The solution offers advantages in terms of speed of execution and energy consumption, resulting in more responsive systems and longer battery life.
The beLow software suite enables developers to understand the structure of a code and identify the parts that can be rewritten to generate more efficiency and performance thanks to a collection of continuously enriched optimization techniques. Conceived as a companion for developers, it allows them to identify and quantify the potential optimization of their code at any stage of its development (number of CPU cycles), to build a line-by-line or function-by-function optimization strategy and obtain an optimized code rapidly and automatically.
Already validated through several proofs of concept in embedded and hosted applications, WedoLow’s effectiveness has been proven in real-world applications across various industrial groups. The results of these demonstrations include a 23% acceleration in the execution speed of vehicle transmission system sensor signal filtering, a 95% improvement in data processing and signal filtering and a 72% increase in execution speed for a signal processing application.
A preview of this solution was presented at CES 2024 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Its market launch is scheduled for Q2 2024.
