A strategic cooperation agreement has been announced by Autoliv China and the Geely Auto Group, which will see the duo developing advanced safety technology for the vehicles of tomorrow.
Through the newly formed collaboration, the pair will cover 16 different technologies to create a systematic approach to automotive safety to meet future demand and save more lives. The pair aim to accelerate the launch of new, advanced safety technologies to market, including solutions for high-level autonomous driving, intelligent steering wheel technology and a 360° occupant safety system.
