Zenzic, the organization dedicated to accelerating development of autonomous driving technology in the UK, is asking organizations to register as CAM (connected and automated mobility) Creators.
This will allow them to claim their place on the updated UK Connected and Automated Mobility Roadmap to 2030, which Zenzic says is instrumental in enabling better sector connections, forming collaborative partnerships and showcasing CAM activity to investors, partners and government. Organizations have until August 18 to sign up and can choose which milestones in the UK Connected and Automated Mobility Roadmap to 2030 they are working toward.
The new CAM Creators feature will be accessible through Zenzic’s online and interactive version of the Roadmap. It notes that CAM Creators add depth to the Roadmap by identifying and connecting the companies and organizations that are creating the technology, standards and regulation, legislation, and knowledge necessary for the UK’s development of connected and self-driving vehicle technology. It claims that decision makers and investors will be able to quickly and easily identify relevant organizations across the industry.
Mark Cracknell, head of technology at Zenzic, explained, “The Roadmap is an invaluable tool for all CAM Creators looking to understand the bigger picture of UK connected and automated mobility and to collaborate with the wider industry to work toward common goals. This will allow organizations to raise their profile and be seen as leading lights in CAM. These updates highlight the progress that is being made collectively and that the UK has both a plan and the skills to create a successful future for CAM.”
