The second flagship vehicle from Human Horizons, the digital GT HiPhi Z has been launched in China. As an expert in new mobility and intelligent driving, the OEM has combined the latest ADAS technologies with the comforts of a modern-day luxury vehicle.
The autonomous technologies of the HiPhi Z are supported by the company’s HiPhi Pilot System which enables assisted driving and parking features. A smart summon feature can also be used via a smartphone application.
Human Horizons’ HiPhi Z benefits from an ADAS system designed and developed around an Nvidia Orin X chip and a QNX Neutrino real-time operating system. The solution utilizes 34 sensors and Lidar technology to scan the vehicle’s surrounding environment constantly. Furthermore, the vehicle’s newly designed software ensures a high degree of safety with dual redundancy for six major systems including computing, perception, communication, braking, steering and power supply.
The HiPhi brand aligns with Human Horizons’ 3-Smart strategic blueprint, which aims to support the development of smart cars, smart transportation and smart cities.
“At Human Horizons, we are obsessed with thinking about the future; it motivates us and steers us towards our goals,” commented Ding Lei, founder, CEO, and chairman of Human Horizons. “We believe that the future holds many incredible advances for humanity, and we want to support the growth of technology in a way that helps make life more enjoyable and convenient.”
Production of the HiPhi Z is expected to begin later in 2022.
