More speakers have been announced for this year’s edition of ADAS & Autonomous Vehicle Technology Expo Europe Conference, taking place at the Messe Stuttgart, Germany, on May 20, 21 and 22, 2025.
Consisting of a mix of OEMs, regulators and tech innovators, contributors so far include Renault, Volvo, Proton (part of Geely), Volvo, VW, Zeekr, Rhein-Main-Verkehrsverbund Servicegesellschaft and Wayve, among others.
Across three days, the conference will facilitate intensive discussions on the future of mobility. The expert speaker line-up will provide the latest technical insight, share unique challenges and experiences and discuss technical solutions and innovations for the development and safe deployment of ADAS and autonomous driving systems. Topics will include generative AI and software-defined vehicle technology; software, data and architecture; advanced simulation, verification and validation; sensing, connectivity, testing, scalability and development tools and technologies; as well as real-world test and deployment, standards and regulations.
Some early program highlights include Gustavo Javorski, a specialist geometrical architect at Volvo, who will give a presentation on ‘Scalable hardware integration in autonomous vehicle development’, insights into the CAST framework. Wayve’s principal roboticist Andrew English will speak on ‘Developing safe and scalable automated driving systems with end-to-end AI’, with delegates able to learn how Wayve’s e2e AI approach addresses safety and does not rely on traditional rules-based methods.
Ralph Grewe, release train architect at Continental, will share an example of a toolchain fostering rapid end-to-end experiments in his presentation ‘Evaluating end-to-end AD for the real world’. Those interested in ‘Deploying a safe and trustworthy AV in different markets’ should attend Vivetha Natterjee’s presentation; Natterjee is an autonomous vehicle safety specialist at Zeekr Technology Europe.
Xavier Chalandon, HMI expert leader at Renault, will present on ‘Vehicle automation and system ergonomics challenges’ and Umar Zakir Abdul Hamid, head of global product and international business strategy at Proton (Part of Geely), will discuss ‘Market entry barriers in future mobility software for autonomous vehicles’. Another speaker highlight will be Thorsten Möginger, head of new mobility at Rhein-Main-Verkehrsverbund Servicegesellschaft, who will delve into ‘Pioneering project KIRA: the first Level 4 deployment in German public transportation’.
Launched in 2015, the conference has fast become a must-attend event for every aspect of ADAS and autonomous vehicle testing, development and validation technologies, bringing together hundreds of the world’s leading engineers in the field. It is one of the biggest conferences focusing on ADAS/AD professionals and has since its launch it has been followed by ADAS & Autonomous Vehicle Technology Summit in Silicon Valley, California, each August.
The conference is held alongside a free-to-attend exhibition, with specialist suppliers across the ADAS/AV ecosystem providing visitors with a glimpse into the latest and most groundbreaking developments in this fast-paced industry.
The preliminary program will be available in the coming weeks. Find out more on the website.
