AB Dynamics has launched its new wireless remote for ADAS testing at ADAS & Autonomous Vehicle Technology Expo California. The team is also showcasing the Euro NCAP-approved Soft Pedestrian 360 and LaunchPad Spin.
The new GTC Remote is designed to enhance ADAS testing efficiency. “The GTC Remote integrates multiple components (joystick, display, safety controller and base station software) into a single, compact handheld unit,” said AB Dynamics’ sales manager, Mike Rihl. “By reducing the need for hardware components, the remote streamlines the logistics of test setup so that engineers and technicians can spend more of their track time testing.”
Key features and benefits of the GTC Remote include its user-friendly interface, powerful processor and long-lasting battery. It supports all-day use, replaces the existing fixed base station setup with a single portable remote control and is compatible with the company’s Guided Soft Target and LaunchPad ADAS platforms.
Rihl added, “The GTC Remote is ideal for single-platform ADAS tests – scenarios where only one target is required, such as the car-to-pedestrian far-side adult, the car-to-pedestrian turning adult and the car-to-pedestrian reverse adult scenarios.”
The expo has proved to be the ideal launchpad for the new product. “With its focus on autonomous vehicle research, the expo aligns perfectly with our mission to drive forward the future of mobility,” enthused Rihl. “We are excited to engage with expo attendees and demonstrate how the GTC Remote can benefit their testing programs.”
