Croatian company Project 3 Mobility, which is focused on urban autonomous mobility, has successfully concluded its Series A investment round, bringing the total amount raised from private investors to approximately €100m (US$108m).
This investment will support the development of Project 3’s autonomous electric vehicle, specialized infrastructure and mobility service.
TASARU Mobility Investments (TASARU), a company wholly owned by the Public Investment Fund (PIF), a large sovereign fund, made its first investment in the next-generation technology sector, and its first investment outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Previously, Project 3 had secured investments from Kia; as well as website hosting technology company SiteGround; Infinum, a Croatian IT company; and Rimac Group, a mobility and energy solutions provider. Additional key investors are Neurone, an investment group focused on advanced technologies, and Elaf Auto, a Qatar-based company.
Marko Pejković, CEO of Project 3 Mobility, said, “We are very happy with the closing of this investment round and bringing on board such strong investors to support us in achieving our bold vision. We believe our project will bring significant benefits for Zagreb and Croatia, as well as many other cities worldwide where we plan to launch our service.”
