Hyundai Motor Group has announced a strategic partnership with Nvidia to accelerate the development of advanced AI technologies for mobility solutions.
Hyundai already operates a variety of AI initiatives and with this partnership, it aims to enhance the application of AI to its core mobility products. This includes software-defined vehicles and robotics.
The agreement will see Hyundai Motor Group utilizing Nvidia’s accelerated computing and AI enterprise software to help manage the large data required to develop and train its AI models for numerous applications. The car maker will utilize Nvidia’s Omniverse platform to develop physical AI and digital twin applications to simulate its factories, improve manufacturing efficiencies and quality and reduce costs. In addition, the brand will also use the Nvidia Isaac AI robot development platform to develop and safely deploy AI robots.
Both brands will collaborate to create virtual simulation environments for safe and reliable autonomous driving technology and robotics systems. More details on the partnership will be announced later.
