Autonomous vehicle software developer Oxa (formerly Oxbotica) has announced three new appointments to its senior leadership team to support its continued growth.
Graeme Smith (above) will join Oxa in August 2023 as chief product engineer officer, a position in which he will be responsible for product management, engineering, solutions, programs and services in order to deliver the company’s range of self-driving software to end users. Smith brings more than 26 years of experience within the tech industry, having previously held the position of senior director of engineering at Google.
Katy Goldwater joined Oxa last month as chief people officer to lead recruitment, talent development, organizational effectiveness and people strategy. Goldwater has 25 years of experience as a global human resources executive and has worked at companies such as TikTok, Bristol-Myers Squibb and Astellas Europe.
“Both Graeme and Katy will play a vital role in how we lead and scale our organization,” said Gavin Jackson, CEO, Oxa. “They bring a wealth of experience which will be crucial in accelerating our world class team and ensuring we deliver value to our customers.”
Company founder and CTO Professor Paul Newman (below) has also been appointed Oxa president and CTO. Newman will drive the strategic vision of the company in addition to continuing his CTO responsibilities.
