Maxieye, an AI-driven autonomous driving service provider, has introduced a new sub-brand called Qiantu, focused on autonomous driving (AD) solutions for commercial vehicles. This move is part of a broader strategy to expand its presence in the smart mobility sector, Maxieye says.
Qiantu aims to meet the needs of the commercial vehicle industry by prioritizing safety and efficiency. The brand will provide customized AD solutions and technology development services, supporting the intelligent enhancement of commercial vehicles throughout their operational lifespan.
Building on Maxieye’s experience in R&D and commercialization, Qiantu provides two main solutions: Qiantu Anxing (Safety as a Service) and Qiantu Zhika (Benefits as a Service). These solutions include features such as enhanced automatic emergency braking (AEB) compliance, intelligent fuel-saving cruise control and navigation on autopilot (NOA) for long-haul logistics. The company can also provide digital operational tools for accident reconstruction, data analysis and cloud-based intelligence.
Qiantu Anxing is designed to ensure continuous operational safety for commercial vehicles, integrating technologies like smart front-facing cameras and millimeter-wave radar for functions such as AEB, lane-keeping assist (LKA) and blind-spot monitoring. The system aims to improve visibility, precision and stability, addressing ongoing safety challenges in the commercial vehicle sector.
The data intelligence feature of Qiantu Anxing includes a video “black box” capable of reconstructing accident scenes, which can assist in accident investigations and driver behavior analysis. It is also designed to support cloud-based data management to enhance the operation of commercial vehicles.
