Hyundai Motor Group has formed an autonomous driving joint venture with technology company Aptiv.
The 50/50 joint venture between the technology company and the Korean corporation aims to make mobility safer, green, more connected and accessible.
Headquartered in Boston with technology centers across the USA and Asia, the joint venture will utilize Hyundai’s design, engineering and manufacturing expertise.
This will be used with Aptiv’s autonomous driving solutions to commercialize a platform for robotaxi providers, fleet operators and automotive manufacturers.
A name for the joint venture will be announced at a later date.
