Self-driving innovation hub Zenzic is challenging tomorrow’s engineers to come up with designs for the car of the future.
The competition, in conjunction with Roborace, is split into three age groups – 0-7-year-olds, 8-14-year-olds and 15 years of age and above.
One winner from each age group will receive a Roborace Hot Wheels car in the post, and one of these three will win a Family Day Ticket for the next Goodwood Festival of Speed.
The competition will close on Friday May 22, at 5pm BST, with the winners being announced on Tuesday, May 26.
Bryn Balcombe, chief strategy officer at Roborace, said, “The great thing about self-driving cars is that they do not have to look anything like the cars we see on the road today. We were able to take inspiration from the world of sci-fi when we designed Robocar and I would encourage anyone entering the competition to really let their imagination run wild. I can’t want to see what the UK’s budding young designers come up with in this competition.”
