The first speakers have been announced for this June’s Autonomous Vehicle Technology Conference in Stuttgart, Germany, which will feature two dedicated conference tracks – The Autonomous Vehicle Test & Development Conference Track, bringing together expert speakers on the latest AV test and development technologies and practises; and the Autonomous Vehicle AI, Software and Sensor Fusion Conference Track, where experts will address the latest developments in AV AI, software and sensor fusion.
First speakers include Carlo van Driesten, BMW Group, who will present a paper titled, ‘Enabling Virtual Test & Validation: Creating a Virtual Proof of Validation in the ENVITED Ecosystem’; Marc Pajon, Renault Group, who will present ‘Validating ADS, towards an industrial scenarios database’; and Magnus Liljeqvist, Volvo Autonomous Solutions, who will present ‘Building a tool chain and an eco-system – the strategy behind creating a new company for Autonomous solutions’.
Meanwhile, IBM’s Frank Kraemer will present ‘AI and big data management for Autonomous Driving (AD)’, drawing on recent testing in Singapore. “With its optimal geo-fenced area, Singapore is one of the most important cities in the world for AD testing right now,” he says.
In total the conference is expected to welcome around 120 expert speakers, who will showcase the essential building blocks and systems, including AI and deep learning, virtual environments, verification and validation of autonomous systems, as well as the testing and development tools and technologies that will underpin a new era of autonomous driving.
The conference takes place 16-18 June, alongside the Autonomous Vehicle Technology Expo, in Stuttgart, Germany – the leading exhibition in Europe for advanced technologies for AV development.
