It’s now just eight weeks until ADAS & Autonomous Vehicle Technology Expo California! Join us in Silicon Valley at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center on August 28 & 29 to see the end-to-end ADAS/AV ecosystem on display at the exhibition and gain tangible takeaways to accelerate SDV development at the conference.
Explore new developments, trends and hot topics such as generative AI in AD/ADAS, the latest regulations and standards, key components in the ADAS/AD test and development toolchain, safety considerations and best practices for advancing ADAS and AV technologies, and next-generation sensors and hardware.
Two days of live demonstrations
At the free-to-attend exhibition, visitors can see, source, trial and test next-generation technologies and solutions from specialist suppliers at the forefront of ADAS and autonomous vehicle development, from the big players to the startups – and all in one place. Leading exhibitors include AB Dynamics, Applied Intuition, ASAM, Deepen AI, dSPACE, ETAS, Foretellix, Imagry, Kognic, rFpro, Siemens, SmartEye and Xylon.
We will shortly begin publishing individual exhibitor news ahead of this year’s show – for all the latest updates, check out the next (September 2024) issue of ADAS & Autonomous Vehicle International, which, as the event’s official media partner, will include the official show preview.
One early highlight that we can bring to you exclusively two months out from the show is an invitation from Imagry (booth 1032) to attendees to take a ride in a self-driving car empowered by its HD-mapless, hardware-agnostic, location-independent L3/L4 driving system. The autonomous driving software provider is inviting exhibition visitors and conference delegates to join its engineers and experience the self-driving technology in person.
Imagry’s bio-inspired technology combines real-time vision-based perception and imitation learning AI to create a driving decision-making network based on the current surroundings. The lidar-free approach enables the autonomous vehicle to understand the road as it goes and react to dynamic contexts and environments, just like a human driver. This self-driving technology has been used to operate passenger cars on public roads since 2019, and is currently driving vehicles in the USA, Germany, Japan and Israel.

Dedicated conference
50+ speakers from international OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, R&D centers and innovative transportation startups will share best practices and innovative strategies for the latest ADAS/AV testing protocols, procedures and solutions at the event’s dedicated conference (rates apply). Expect expert insights from real-world case studies across the transportation sector.
Hear from Volvo Cars, Torc Robotics, Didi, GM, HASS COE, Goodyear, Waymo, Kodiak, AVSC (SAE-ITC), Microsoft, Wayve, IBM, Valeo and Dell, among others.
One presentation not to miss is set to come from Jim Misener (right), global V2X ecosystem lead/board member, Qualcomm/5GAA, titled, ‘The 5GAA roadmap for advanced driving: connectivity as a linchpin’. Misener will share his vision for how connectivity technologies can meaningfully support advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) worldwide. The 5GAA roadmap for advanced driving includes both wide area and local broadcast communications and shares a vision for how they can augment ADAS solutions. Attendees will learn the immediate and near-term benefits of vehicles equipped with 5G modems and gain insight into the regulatory and standards headwinds to overcome.
Stay tuned for further highlights from the conference over the coming weeks, and check out the full program and reserve your place by visiting the event website, where you can also find the full exhibitor list and register for your free exhibition pass.
