It’s now just one week until the start of ADAS & Autonomous Vehicle Technology Expo Europe, which takes place at the Messe Stuttgart on June 4, 5 & 6, 2024.
Highlights include new ethernet modules for datalogging and HIL from Xylon; simulation solutions for software-defined vehicles by dSpace; the latest in ground-truth data pipelines for sensor-fusion from Kognic; and ADAS and AV applications from IPG Automotive, alongside its CarMaker product family, which will demonstrate how virtual test driving can be enabled along the complete development process. In terms of software development, BeamNG will demonstrate its hardware-in-the-loop use case (CANbus) and interoperability solutions (Simulink, ROS 1, ROS 2, MQTT protocol); and WMG, University of Warwick, in collaboration with Deepen AI, will present the Safety Pool Scenario Database, which contains more than 270,000 scenarios for automated driving system (ADS) testing, validation and certification.

What’s more, 80+ expert speakers from OEMs, big tech and Tier 1s, including Wayve, Volvo, BMW, Stellantis, ASAM and Audi, covering topics from software and AI to testing methodologies and regulatory frameworks, will present at the adjoining conference (rates apply).
Presentations not to miss include a deep dive by Mobileye into the complexities of designing for differentiation in autonomous driving and remaining challenges on the path from development to commercialization; and Humanising Autonomy discussing ‘Moving from ADAS to HDAS – humanized driver assistance systems’.
AAVI has shared some of the presentations it is most looking forward to at this year’s conference.
