Visitors to this year’s ADAS & Autonomous Vehicle Technology Expo have been able to check out an upgraded and updated demo car on the b-plus booth. Named ‘MAX’, the demo vehicle features next-generation measurement technology for the development and analysis of autonomous driving systems.
“These include the measurement platform Brick, with its extension options for time-synchronous tapping and nanosecond-accurate time stamping of sensor data, explained Christine Schäfer, head of marketing. “Furthermore, we show with our performance and product portfolio the entire data flow from the sensor to the cloud: storage and conversion of measurement data from automotive Ethernet to BASE-T Ethernet, transport of data streams at an enormous processing speed, and management of test data and vehicles in the test fleet management system. Here in Stuttgart, you can see all our hardware and software components and their ideal collaboration.”
One of those hardware elements includes the new NETLion 10G automotive Ethernet development tool, which b-plus claims is now faster than ever – offering data speeds of up to 10Gb/s, which make it ideal for the development, testing and validation of driver assistance systems.
