To aid in shaping the future of software-defined vehicles, dSpace has joined the Scalable Open Architecture for Embedded Edge (SOAFEE) project as a voting member. The company brings to the project over 30 years of experience within simulation and validation to drive solutions for system development and integration.
The project seeks to address the challenges surrounding the development of increasingly complex vehicle software, and aims to support unified and scalable architecture for the cloud-based development and deployment of vehicle software.
As an active participant in the SOAFEE initiative, dSpace will contribute its knowledge in the field of developing and testing ECU software while developing relevant solutions and tools for software-defined vehicles.
“We look forward to working with the partners in the SOAFEE community,” said André Rolfsmeier, director of strategic product management for automated driving and software solutions at dSpace. “Together, we will pave the way to cloud-based development and make a significant contribution in bringing software-defined vehicles onto the roads faster.”
