Compredict, a startup specializing in artificial intelligence-enabled software solutions for predictive maintenance, vehicle health and usage monitoring, has partnered with Palantir Technologies, a builder of operating systems. Compredict will leverage Palantir’s Foundry software to deliver virtual sensors and other services to international partners, with the companies aiming to fulfil the demand for better cloud-based solutions for connected vehicles.
Working within the automotive and mobility sectors, Compredict offers data-driven virtual sensors and software built to replace hardware sensors in varying automotive applications.
Virtual sensors are vital for software-based vehicles as they enable new measurement capabilities to be added to existing and new vehicles, while also delivering health and usage monitoring, and eventually, predictive maintenance management. Advantages and benefits for customers include reduced warranty costs, more efficient vehicle maintenance and the more sustainable delivery of data-driven services for mobility.
Palantir Foundry was designed to help organizations integrate disparate data sources and make the best possible use of their data. Compredict will use Palantir Foundry to provide its virtual sensors and other benefit-led services internationally.
