UKi Media & Events, the organiser of ADAS & Autonomous Vehicle Technology Expo, San Jose, California (and publisher of Autonomous Vehicle International), has announced new autumn dates for this year’s inaugural show in California, which will now take place September 7 & 8, 2022, at the same venue (McEnery Convention Center).
“Due to the rapid escalation of the Omicron variant of C19 in the USA and elsewhere, we have decided to move ADAS & Autonomous Vehicle Technology Expo & Conference to run on September 7 & 8, 2022,” said Tony Robinson, CEO and show founder, UKi Media & Events.
“Over the coming weeks, Omicron is likely to continue to cause some disruption, uncertainty and potentially some hesitance for some people about joining moderately large gatherings at indoor events. Therefore, rather than running the risk of presenting an event in the spring that is less than 100%, we have discussed the issue with our exhibitors and agreed that it is much better to postpone it to the late summer,” he continued.
“All arrangements are essentially in place, with an excellent line-up of exhibitors and a lively conference program that has some compelling content. More exhibitors are signing up every week and even more content will have been added by the time we run the event in September. The show layout will remain exactly as originally planned, and I would like to thank the San Jose McEnery Convention Center for their valued help and cooperation in moving the show to a safer window. The change will enable us to run a comfortable, confident and highly productive industry event, which we very much look forward to doing.”
